To all the people sending passport scans, copies of HMRC letters, bank account details etc... to my email addresses. 

STOP !

This type of of information can be used in identity thief and sending this information unencrypted over the internet is not a good idea. You wouldn't put this information on a post card, so why send it over the internet by standard email. Where you do not know which servers it has passed through on the way and what the servers have done with the data on the way through them. Let alone the fact you haven't sent the information to the correct address in the first place.
